Problems printing a PDF

Hello guys/girls,

At my work we have a rewritable PDF. After filling this PDF, we sent it to a PDF printer to make it non writable. This worked for half a year. Recently i only get errors telling me it's already a PDF.. (wich is correct )
I can't explain why it doesn't work anymore or a solution to make it work again. I need a quick way to make non writable again. Does anyone know why this doesn't work anymore or a solution for this problem? Something must have changed..
Thanks in advance!

Greets,
Dennis

In this case, I suppose that Adobe cannot help. You should contact Amyuni support to get more information. Please feel free to update this thread if you still need help after that.

Let me see if I get the meaning of your question:

You have a PDF forumular that gets filled out and to freeze the entries, you print it to the « Adobe PDF » printer resulting in a standard PDF file that can not be filled in anymore.

Even that reencoding a PDF file is not supported and should be avoided, this works on my computer.

I would like you to give some additional precisions:

  • What is your OS and version. Please state the version number, « the latest » version is not true anymore after the next upgrade.
  • What is your Acrobat and version?
  • How is the printer called you are printing too?

Hi Abambo,

U get the meaning!

I use the following additions:

- Microsoft office proffesional plus 2010 v14.0.7015.1000

- Acrobat reader 2017 v17.011.30106

- The printer is a Amyuni Document converter 500
