Hello, unfortunately after reinstalling I cannot use the license I purchased two years ago (Acrobat Pro 2020).
- I logged in on one computer and deactivated Adobe. Unfortunately, that didn't make any difference.
- I no longer have access to two older computers on which the license was activated (scrapped and stolen).

What can I do now?

The activated computers are not visible in my online account.

Thank you for your support!

I have the same problem, the previous computer I had that serial number on has fried and can not turn on anymore. I am unable to deactivate it on that computer and when I purchased my new computer to install it I was unable to. I call the customer service number and he said I just have to buy a new one. Frankly this is a ridiculous solution, all my other programs don't force me to repurchase them. Corel Draw, etc. I could deactivate the old computer through my online account it's baffiling to see Adobe without a solution.

Hello @Prof. Dr.-Ing38312730lldr

I hope you are doing well. Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble you had with Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 uses a serial number-based activation system, which allows installation on up to two computers. If one of those devices becomes permanently unavailable (like yours), you can't deactivate it directly, leading to the “activation limit reached” error.

Please try the suggestions from the following article once: https://adobe.ly/3J36Gg3

Also, use the Acrobat Cleaner tool once to remove the installed app, restart the machine, and install the fresh setup of Acrobat Pro 2020. Use the serial number for the activation process.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

NEVER POST A SERIAL NUMBER TO A PUBLIC FORUM!

Anyone can take it and use it, and then you'll really have a problem...

I've removed the image with the S/N from your post.
