Purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from Amazon

I downloaded the software to my computer, clicked on the Desktop Shortcut, expecting to use the software I purchased.  Now, I get a pop-up screen offering me a 30-day trial, with an 'option' to purchase, or the opportunity to license the software with a serial number.  I don't have a serial number, just a product key that came with the download.  Can someone please tell me how to use the software I purchased and downloaded and avoid this pop-up screen.  Thanks.

No, but I did have to verify my 'teacher status' after which I did receive a serial number.  Thank you for your reply.
