I always rely on the Document Page size in the lower left frame bar of any and all PDF windows. For some reason, today it is gone. I have restarted Acrobat, rebooted my machine. I have even deleted the Acrobat preferences and let it create a new preference file. No matter what, this check box clicked or not clicked, does not yield me what I have relied on for many years.
Thoughts please.

Hi All
The issue has been addressed with the new version of Acrobat (23.08.20555) and now we have a preference to enable the scroll bar in Mac.
Please find details for the fix here:- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/scroll-framework-upgrade-macos.html

It's so annoying and this function is not effective.

Don't forget – Adobe has decided that you have to turn OFF the Always show page size option in Preferences to turn on the page size when you hover. If you leave the Preference option turned on, it won't show on hovering.
Yes, completely counterintuative.

I'm not enjoying the removal of such an essential feature as "Always Show Page Display".
For those of us in print production and graphic design, being able to see the page size is essential.
I need to have the page size information at my fingertips, not only on a hover.
In multiple page documents, hovering each time I change the page is going to be so time-consuming!
I really hope you can take our feedback on board.
I'm sure a lot of Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers find it essential. Acrobat Pro should have features catered to those who use it!

Seriously are Adobe so hard up for new 'features' to justify the existence of the Creative Cloud model that we are now changing vital features just so they can call it 'new' a feature.
I have just wasted half an hour of my working day trying to 'fix' my Acrobat preferences. I am processing supplied PDFs all day. I need to be able to check the size quickly. Do we need to find an alternative PDF editor to actually use PDFs Professionally?
We are already having to battle the defective PDFs that Indesign 18.4 and 18.5 produces to the point its a blessing when artwork get supplied as a Quark/Canva/Word created PDF and now Adobe are slowing down the workflow even more.

Simply viewing the page size may sound minor but it is critical to so many work flows. Please put it back into the program ASAP!

Maybe an upgrade to this feature would be to default it as ALWAYS ON and maybe make it MORE visible for even quicker production use.

Can we also get the FULL NAME OF THE FILE back at the top - the tabs don't show the whole file name which is also a hinderance.

This is HORRIBLE! Please change it back to the way it was.

Thank you to Michael310632523pt2 for the initial posting of this! (I experienced exactly the same situation... just, BAM!, in the middle of my day... Oh, sorry, Acrobat no longer displays the page dimensions conveniently in the corner anymore... restart app, restart cumputer... prolonged grimace...?!?)
Abhinav Sethi, that’s a rediculous excuse for taking away something SO incredibly helpful... I don’t ask much from Acrobat, as an app, and I’ve personally given up asking Adobe for anything, but seriously, this ONE little thing was an absolute godsend when I discovered it...
Find a way to it back the way it was.
There are zero viable reasons for eliminating this.

This is litterally the Absolute worst thing you could have done to Acrobat. Does Adobe not care about their users and how they use thier products?!?

That does not work. Hovering does not do anything. Need to be able to see page dimensions.

You have to disable "always show page size" in preferences for it to "work"

This is the most ridiculous thing. WHY in the world would Adobe do this? It's counter-productive.
Just another step. I don't see this when I "hover"over the bottom left corner of the page.
It recommend putting that feature back as a "Basic" setting. It's very helpful in the Print/Graphic world, as many people don't even know what they're sending, as far as Document Page Size. The tool is one of the most useful tools. Please take this recommendation seriously and send it to the "Higher-ups" at Adobe. ~ john massaro ~

Sorry, Abhinav — nothing appears for me while hovering over lower left corner of the document or the window, no matter how hard I try. (Acrobat 2023.006.20320, OS 13.5.2)
Like the others I want say, this is a serious inconvenience. I depend on this constantly because I receive documents in different sizes, which matters for my production process.
Please change it back.

Another vote to reinsate please. Absolutley rely on being able to see the page dimensions. Been part of my workflow for many years. Struggling to get used to some of the other 'features' and so many things have moved or don't work as they used to.
Could we please have a heads up/warning when delivering such a big change to such a critical piece of software? Could it not be incorporated into the Creative Cloud update dialogue to allow the used to decide if/when to update? Switching to Acrobat halfway through the day to see that the whole interface has become unrecognisable is very inconvenient and somewhat unsettling.
In the meantime is there a way to wind back to the previous version please?

This is ridiculous decision making from Adobe. The full name says Adobe Acrobat Pro and there is nothing PRO about this. Maybe you should try to make some new features that are actually worth paying for.

This is not working for me. Hovering does not reveal the page size. However, even if it did, that would not be sufficient. I HAVE to see the page size every time I open I document. I work for a publishing company. We publish over 50 magazines and I deal with thousands of ads, mostly submitted as print-ready PDFs. I need to be able to open a file and, at a glance, see if it is the correct size. This is CRUCIAL. Please, please, reinstate this feature!

I completely agree with you. I work with hundreds of pdf files and I need to preflight them to see what page size it is. Its annoying that I would have to hover to see the page size. That slows down your production!!!

Can you tell me how taking something that was CLEARLY visible and making us take another step to do it is "enhancing"? I work in the printing industry and we rely on dimesions. Now I do not have a scrolling bar. And was jut done to Mac products. Do you know there is NOT A SINGLE ONE Mac touch screen? Whoever came with this pathetic idea needs to be fired.

This is terrible. I am going to look for another PDF reader to use as a default, and only use Acrobat when absolutely necessary. "Always" should mean "always" and not "when hovering". And the hovering option is not working for me at all on my old Mac. (MacOS 12.6.9, Mac Pro - late 2013, 3.7GHz Quad Core)
