"fill and sign" tool does not work properly

hello, on "acrobat pro DC", when i use the "fill and sign" tool, this regularly hangs for 2 or 3 minutes, and only when i use the ribbon button "add text" .

Usually I have time to add 2 letters to what I want to write and then acobrat hangs and only unlocks after 2-3 min, then I can continue working. I noticed that if I didn't write my text too quickly, it went better.
I made the updates friends it doesn't change a thing

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described the fill and sign tool is not working properly and hangs for few minutes.

 

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer first and then try again

 

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

 

You may also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Windows only) and see if that helps.

 

Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if that works.
