"Insert from Clipboard" formatting issue

I've been having an issue when inserting pages into Acrobat from my clipboard, where it seems that when I insert it into Acrobat, the size of the inserted page changes to a square (possibly 8x8?) when the rest of the pages are rectangle (7x11). I have some pictures below as an example (the first page was created as a PDF when the second page is inserted from word), and have attached the file as an example as well.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Using the clipboard is comfortable but just bad, especially for complex layouts, since you have no control about it's behavior. You better save the word file as a PDF and then import those into your existing PDF.

Hi Nicholas

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, when inserting pages into Acrobat from the clipboard, he size of the inserted page changes to a square.

Would you mind sharing the steps you did to insert the page into the PDFand creating the PDF out of it? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

I have checked the file that you have shared and found the it is creates using a non Adobe application PDFium, please try to create the PDF using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC application and check if that helps.

Thank you for your response.

To start, I open the pdf that I want to insert the Word document into. I then go to my Word document that I want to insert, and I hit Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C.

Next, I go back to the pdf, click "File", "Insert Pages", and then "Insert from Clipboard". It then lets me choose where I want to insert it (before or after a certain page), then I hit "Okay" and it inserts the page, but it is in the square format.

When doing all of this, I am using Acrobat Pro DC.

Hi there

As suggested by radzmar,  have you tried creating the PDF from the Word file first and then try to insert the page ?

Let us know how it goes.
