"Read Me" Error when Trying to Install Acrobat 2017 on Catalina OS 10.15

Purchased downloaded version of Acrobat Pro 2017 Student and Teacher Edition from Office Depot.

Downloaded with the normal forum challenges, but the 'right click, Open" work-around solved them.

Then I choose install. So far, so good.

The Install window comes up. It gives a blurb and then you can Cancel or Continue. I click Continue and it goes to the Read Me page/tab. But at this stage, I only get the spinning apple wheel. Nothing comes up to read. And it does not cycle. You need to Force Quit to exit. So while I have a successful download now, per Adobe, I can not install the program.

Solution(s)?

Thank you. I ended up returning the Office Depot and purchasing a hard copy. I am hung up again. So I did get past everything but now it wants me to "sign in" to my account but gives a screeen whereby I can not do that. Why do I have to sign into an account I have no idea. The complexity by Adobe is creating more issues for users. But it is what it is. Not sure how to get past the sign in part.
