Question

"Repeating Section Content Control" Adobe Acrobat Pro

I am new to Adobe Acrobat Pro and normally use Word to create forms. However, the company has moved over to the new system. Word has the "Repeating Section Content Control" feature which is great to add sections when filling in a document.

What can I use in Adobe Acrobat Pro that is similar?

If there isn't a similar feature, what do you recommend instead of adding rows upon rows for adding information?

Thank you for your help! I decided just to create the rows in advance.

PDF files (with the exception of LiveCycle/AEM forms) do not have such flexibility.

If you want to achieve something similar you can either:

- Create the rows in advance (using form fields), hide them and then show them when needed, or

- Use Template pages to spawn new copies of an entire page when needed.

Note the former will not cause the rest of the page's content to "re-flow", though, so if you do it like that, you need to leave an empty area on the page for all the fields, even when they are hidden.
