Hello all,
When I use the "scale pages to specified size" Preflight fixup to increase the size of pages in a pdf, it works fine.
However, it will not reduce page size. When I try to do this, the fixup always says that it has executed correctly, but when I look at the resulting document it's identical to the original, with no change in page size.
I've tried "fit from outside" and "fit from inside" settings in the dropdown, but this makes no difference.
Can anybody suggest a solution?
Thanks!

Hi Robert
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As mentioned you are unable to reduce the page size of the PDF file.
Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.
Also, please try to reboot the computer once and see if that helps.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer again.
Also please check the steps shared in the help page listed below:

Hi Amal,
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I'm investigated some more. The fixup does not work for a large file (the interior of a full-colour book), reducing page size from 216x303mm to 210x297mm.
However, it does work for a much smaller file, without lots of illustrations.
The steps linked at the bottom did not help, I'm afraid: I can't reduce the file size in the print dialogue, because I need to retain full file features and quality. I need to use the scale pages fixup.
The version is 2021.005.20060
Thank you again,
Robert

For anybody else checking this, I have found that percentage changes in page size work, even when mm changes don't.
