I haverun into this issue twice in 90 days but I am working on a Lenovo. Is this happening on Apple or other computer brands as well?

Hello @Margaret22351301r6hj

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the trouble.

Could you please share more details about the issue? Are you on a Mac or Windows machine, and what is the OS version?

Are you using Acrobat or the freeware Reader desktop app? And, what is the version? Check from Menu > Help > About Adobe Acrobat.

Please ensure that all the mandatory and optional updates related to the operating systems are installed.

Also, ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 26.002.21931, Out of cycle update, Sep 17, 2026. Check for any pending updates by navigating to Menu > Help> Check for Updates. Install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

If the issue continues, please restart the computer, use the Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove the installed app, and restart the computer.

Then download Acrobat and Install: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/desktop/get-started/access-the-app/install-acrobat-enterprise.html

For Reader: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Let us know how it goes, and please reach out if you experience any issues or need any assistance.

Regards,

Anand  Sri

Hi @Ashish26118079id4t

Hope you are doing well.

Please try the following steps to see if that helps!

  • Save your work and close all the applications.
  • Run the repair for the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable(x64&x86) and try again.

         - To repair: Go to > Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features > Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 (right click>Manage and repair)

Thanks,

Akanchha
