How to prevent winword.exe ghost process in Windows Task Manager on Adobe save of a  word document as pdf? Every save leaves an open process whether it is done manually or using the Action Wizard or whether one chooses a single file or whole folder. Eventually, memory runs out and a large number of processes name winword.exe are are visible in the Task Manager's Processes list.
