Random order of printers in Adobe Acrobat Pro on the Mac

When printing documents, I encounter two problems on the Mac.

1. When selecting the print icon in Acrobat Pro, it presents the printers in some random order I can't figure out, rather than the order of printers as organized under System Settings on the Mac. What order is it defaulting to, and is there a way to reorder them? The same thing happens when printing from the Chrome Acrobat extension.

2. And with the Chrome PDF extention printing, it first offers , painfully, only the last three printers that have been used rather than going to the long list of all printers. Between the extra mouse clicks to get to the comprehensive list of printers and being in random order, it adds to the workload to print documents.

The order looks alphabetical to me.

With the Chrome PDF extension printing: is that using Acrobat?

Your “abbreviated” version did! 😉 I'm out. Hopefully, a macOS user has an answer.

Sorry, I didn't post the complete one first, coincidence that the abbreviated one is alphabetical since it presents the last three printers used. Useless in an environment where there's a dizen printers being used in random order!

Is there a way to get the ear of Adobe directly I wonder? Will be searching...
