Sorry for the delay in response to your issue posted on Community. If you are still experiencing the same issue, please try a couple of troubleshooting steps suggested below:

1- We have the latest patch available for Acrobat version 22.001.20117 install that and see if that helps

2- Check with a different pdf, as it could be possible that the file you are working with is secured.

3- When you use the redact feature, what exactly happens? Does it crashes or doesn't let you redact the content at all?

You haven't given us much to work with here. What platform are you using? Why don't you update to the latest version of Acrobat? What specifically about the redaction tool isn't working? You can't mark for redaction? You can't apply the redaction? Details please.
