Could you please share more details about the issue? Are you referring to the error that Acrobat shows about the fonts that are installed, if their embedding permission is restricted (e.g., fsType=0x4), Acrobat will display the warning and substitute an alternative font? 

• Fonts include an fsType flag in their OS/2 table that controls embedding permissions.
  • 0x0 = Installable embedding (fully embeddable)
  • 0x4 = Restricted (cannot embed for editable fields)
  • 0x8 = Preview & Print only
• Acrobat respects these flags and the font’s EULA. If the flag disallows embedding, Acrobat will not override it.

• Acrobat is designed to comply with font licensing and technical flags. Ignoring these could violate the EULA.
• For form fields, the font must allow editable embedding, not just preview/print.

Check Font Embedding Status
In Acrobat: Menu> Properties > Fonts > Look for “Embedded” or “Embedded Subset.”

Use Preflight to Embed Fonts
All Tools > Print Production > Preflight > PDF Fixups > Embed missing fonts > Run the fix.
Note: This only works if the font license allows embedding.

Re-export from Source App
Enable “Embed Fonts” when creating the PDF in Word, InDesign, etc. If the font cannot be embedded, choose an alternative font with installable embedding permissions.

If License Restricts Embedding
You cannot override the flag in Acrobat. The only option is to use a different font or request a corrected font file from the vendor.
