Read out loud treats the end of every line as a full stop. The pause makes it horribly disjointed and it starts each line as if it is a new sentence

Hi there,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The behavior you’re describing with the “Read Out Loud” feature treating the end of each line as a full stop is not the intended experience. This can happen if the text being read has line breaks that the tool interprets as sentence boundaries.

To improve the reading flow, here are a few suggestions:

1. Check the Document Formatting: Ensure the text is formatted with proper sentence structures and does not have unnecessary line breaks. If the document is editable, you can adjust it to remove manual line breaks.

2. Adjust Read Out Loud Settings: Some settings might allow for smoother reading. Double-check the preferences for any options related to how text is parsed and read. For more info. please check the help page https://adobe.ly/3PdXPI4

3. Update the App: If this issue persists despite correct formatting, ensure you’re using the latest version of the app. Go to Help > check for updates and reboot the computer once. Updates often include fixes for issues like this.

4. Feedback to the Product Team: If this is a consistent issue and none of the above resolves it, please share your feedback with our engineering team here: https://adobe.ly/3BKZ52j for further investigation and potential improvements.
