Reader Extended PDF in Adobe 2017 Doesn't Seem to Work Correctly

I have a form that was created with Adobe Livecycle ES4. I need it to be able to be signed by all of the following:

Adobe Reader DC

Adobe 2017 Standard and Pro

However, when I enable Reader extensions, when I click on the signature field in DC nothing happens. The normal pop-up to choose a signature doesn't show at all. I can edit the PDF, but not able to sign. I also can't sign the same form in Adobe 2017 Standard or Pro I get the below error.

An important note: If I apply the Reader extensions to the same form from Adobe XI Pro than everything works fine. I can sign it from DC and both 2017 Standard and Pro. So it is an issue strictly with Adobe 2017 Pro applying the reader extensions.
