Redact Tool Not Working

Acrobat Pro continuous release version 2024.003.20180.  Using Redact Text and Images, the pointer will not highlight anything.  PDF has no security.  Same problem on multiple PDFs.  Same result after OCR.  Have rebooted Acrobat Pro and the pc and still have same problem.  Was working fine a week or so ago.  Thanks

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with Acrobat.

 

To test, would you mind creating a PDF file from a blank page in Acrobat and then add some text and perform the redaction? 

 

Are all the files from a single source, that you use redactions on? I doubt there could be a permissions issue preventing the workflow.

Also, please try updating the app to the latest version (24.004.202xx) by going to Menu-> Help-> Check for updates.
