Remove AI Assistant From the Tool Bar or Give An Option To Hide It

Adobe,

Please remove the AI Assistant from the top tool bar in Adobe or give the app users a way to hide that feature.  I'm sure there is a group of people who find this tool useful and I am well aware there is a check box in the settings page that claims to remove the AI functions but it does not.  I'm kindly asking that the Adobe engineers just make that check box work so when it is selected, the AI features tool stops poping up in the top corner when ever I open a document, the tool bar button can be completely hidden, and make the AI just hide in the background for when there is a chance the end user would like to enable this feature.  A lot of mature, professional, and understanding software developers take into consideration that feedback from the end users is paramount to developing a viable program.  What is happening now is not just pothetic but  unprofessional and detrimental to most people who use Adobe Acrabat.

Please upvote this in the hopes that Adobe gets up and fixes their stuff.

Hi Christopher336069038fl1,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

If you wish to turn off the feature, you can do it using the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/disable-generative-ai.html

However, the option to hide the feature is not available. The feedback has been shared with the team.

You may also share your suggestion with the product team via the following page: https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Meenakshi,

Thank you for your response.  Please stress to the support team that the people who do not like the AI feature just want a way to hide the button and its subsequent popups that limit user productivity and performance of the application.  All we want is a way to pick what features of the application are present when it starts and for Adobe to work as we need it to.

Would you be able to take some corrective action and stop providing incorrect information about how to turn off the AI assistant like you did in your response to this post?  I feel that you are misleading people into believing that the AI assistant check box in the settings page actuatlly turns off the AI assistant.  Yes, you are guiding people to a check box that states it turns off the feature but the AI assistant is not turned off.  The AI assistant still displays pop-up windoes when Adobe opens.  The AI assistant can still operate if you click the AI assistant button on the tool bar of Adobe.  You are offering people a placibo when you can actually use your input as an Adobe employee to come up with a real treatment for this issue.
