Hello,

I´ve got many of PDFs in one Folder and each one is protected by the same Password.

My question is now, how can I remove the protection in a batch or sequence using the Action wizard or Javascript.

There`re over 800 Files and it could be worst to open each one manually and remove the Protection 😞

Thank´s for all Answers!

Bye,

Stefan

This method no longer works for me in Acrobat Pro 2017, although it did work briefly. The action now shows the encyption step to remove the password as inactive and does not perform it.

Is there a Javascript method for removing the password?

A freshly installed copy of Acrobat 2017 Pro was able to remove the password through Action Wizard, with Password Security activated in the Action Wizard preferences. Once that copy received the automatic update, it could no longer do so.

Acrobat 9 Pro is able to remove passwords through batch processing, with Password Security enabled in the batch processing preferences.
