Remove Watermark When Printing

I'm taking a course with a PW protected file and prinitng the slides for use during the class. I had no issues printing the slides as viewed in Acrobat Pro 2020. Unfortunately thatr printer died and I bought a new Brother laserjet. Now when I print the slides the content is obscurred by a copyright watermark that's not visible when viewing the slides in Pro 2020 but is visible when viewing the document in Acrobat Reader. 

I've looked high and low for a printer setting but cannot find one. Every suggestion I've seen requires the Permissions PW which the author has not provided. 

Appreciate any insights into resolving the issue.
