Removing page numbers once Acrobate added them?

how do I remove page numbers once I added them in Acrobat? Acrobat doesn't seem to recognize its own page numbers.

How exactly did you add these pages numbers? What happens when you try to remove them?

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the issue?

 

With the very vague nformation that you've provided about your issue it's hard to figure out what exactly are you referring to.

 

I think you are referring to trying to navigate to a specific page  in your PDF document, but it links you to a different page  that doesn't match the number that you entered manually.

 

Is this correct?

 

In any case,  Let's say that is the issue, be aware that in Adobe Acrobat, PDF elements such as, pages are arrayed by the JavaScript core interpreter starting at "0". So, the first page in that document starts at zero not one.

 

If you're trying to remove pages via script, you may need to modify your script to reflect that distinction.

If you are adding page numbers using a header or footer, use the fly-out menu to remove it. You can also create a new footer with the option to replace the old. If you want to remove a single page number, select the type (double click) then cut or delete it.
