Rendering Out of Memory error while scrolling through pages

Rendering fails when zooming in and out on pages

This appears to be a reoccurrence of an issue that has occurred many times. The update described on this page appears to have been a fix for it two years ago. (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/adobe-acrobat-and-reader-21-007-2009x-optional-up... )

It has been happening for a few weeks. I have tried

Repair Installation (Option under Help in Acrobat)

Uninstalled/Re-installed Acrobat

Uninstalled/Re-installed all Creative Cloud apps.

Prior to the last few weeks, I have had no problem with Acrobat. I've had dozens of documents open and never had an issue.

Hi @Scout myname

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

As you already have the latest version of Acrobat, please go to Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Under Rendering, Uncheck 'Use Page Cache' > Click OK and reboot the computer once and see if that works.

Also check for any missing/pending update for Windows OS and try updating it.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Amal

Hi Amal,

I can confirm this has worked.

I no longer get the "Memory" error or "can't render" error, or"complete failure to render any pages" error.

Can I suggest error message provide this suggestion automatically or include some monitoring of the cache so this simple but large error can be resolved immediately.
