Question

Resize images copied and pasted from clipboard (Acrobat XI pro)

Hi! As the title suggests, in acrobat XI pro I would like to be able to resize images copied and pasted from clipboard. Whenever I paste images (especially screenshots captured with the native windows application) in a pdf with the "edit text and images" button active, I cannot freely change the size (the aspect ratio seems locked). How can I fix this?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to resize the image in the PDF using Acrobat XI

- Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs with images? Please try with a different PDF file and image and check.

- Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat XI you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the application updates to its last version 11.0.23 https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotes/index.html and reboot the computer once and check.

Note: Adobe Acrobat XI is an old and EOL application. For more information please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-xi-reader-xi.html

Regards

Amal

hi, thanks for the reply! the problem occurs with any pdf. I have version 11.0.0 of acrobat XI pro. Another annoying thing with the current version: previously, after I highlighted some words and opened the note text related to the highlighting, to reread it I just had to hover the cursor over it and the pop up with the note opened. Lately, to read it I have to click on the highlight, it had never happened before and I never changed version. Can I change anything from the settings in the current version?

You should update your version. The latest is 11.0.23, and there have been many bug fixes between the original version and that one.
