Hey,
I want to print some package labels that are formatted on half a piece of paper, with the label on half of the PDF, to a 4"x6" thermal printer. The first attachment file is an example of how the PDF is sent to me, flipped on its side and the page size is a full page, with the label taking up half the page.
I've searched for the best way to resize a PDF to 4"x6" on Acrobat but when I try to select "Organize Pages" then "set page boxes" and set the page size to 4"x6" it says "page size may not be reduced" as seen in the second attachment file. I check the page size under properties and the size is 10.98"x8.27" so it's larger than the 4"x6" size I want to reduce it too.
In the third attachment file, I've tried to go to "print" then under "page sizing & handling" I select "actual size" and then under "orientation" select "Portrait" but then I can't move the printing box (top left of page) to where the label is located (middle right of page). I double checked that the paper size is set to 4"x6" under page setup.
I thought this would be easy to format but I'm stumped and would appreciate your help and the steps I need to take to print this PDF to a 4"x6" thermal printer, thank you!

Thank you for the message but can you please provide a bit more detail. I can make a square around the label when I use the crop tool but I tried to crop it but when I go to print, the "fit" option makes the logo about 1/4 the size of the PDF and doesn't work. Could you provide a screenshot or two for me please? See attached regarding the "fit" selection, on the right you can see the label is super small and doesn't work.

It looks like it's not cropped. Can you post a screenshot of the crop dialog box?
and also if the entire page after it's cropped?
There should be measures in thr lower left hand corner when you hover over it. Once the page is cropped, those measurements should be roughly 4x6.

Thanks for the response. I attached a screenshot with the crop box around the label. When I double click the cropped selection, and the "Set Page Boxes" options come up, I select "Custom" under "Change Page Size" and put in the custom width of 4" and height of 6", it still says "Page size may not reduced" - any reason you can think of why I can't change the page size? Thank you

I'll do it the way you suggested. Still not sure why I can't do a custom width and height with the "page size may not be reduced error" Appreciate your help, thanks!

At "Set Page Boxes" you can increase the page size.

Crop the page and then "fit to paper size" in the print dialog page. This is the method I use every day when printing shipping labels.

Thanks for the response. I went to the crop tool, drew a box around the label. I see a square box around the label now.
I went to the menu and selected "print" but don't see "fit to paper size", where is that located? I see "fit" under print but it makes the box as big as the entire PDF. Can you provide a screenshot or two for me please?
I attached the print screen because I chose "fit" but I don't see "fit to paper size" and you can see the label is super small on the preview.
