Ruler scale is wrong...

An 8 1/2 x 11 shows as 8 3/8 x 10 1/2 in the ruler.  Why?  How can I fix?

What is the indicated size of your pdf when you go to File> Properties> Description?

What is the indicated page size of the attached pdf? (using File> Properties> Description)

I am trying to determine if your Acrobat is working properly. Note, a pdf can have multiple page sizes, it's possible one or more pages of your pdf are 8.5x11, but the one with the ruler is smaller, and the ruler image is not accurate, as indicated by your screen shot.

It says 8.38 x 11 in properities.

It's fixed....  I un-installed and re-installed and it's correct now!!!!!  Yaaaay!  Thanks for your time.
