Adobe Acrobat won't recognize my new HP 8025E scanner. I can print from Adobe, but it doesn't show up on the list of scanners to Create a PDF. In the Windows Device Manager the printer shows up as "Microsoft IPP Class Driver" Please help...thanks!

Please check for any missing/pending updates for printer driver and firmware and try updating it. You may also try to remove the printer driver, reboot the computer and reinstall it from the manufacturers website and check if that works.

Thanks Amal, The solution was as you said. I needed the full set of hp drivers installed for Adobe to 'see' the scanner.
