Hi there

Hardware:

Toshiba Satellite Pro C70-V

Canon Imageclass MF4270 ( Hooked up to both: Network and USB connections).

D-Link AC3200 for a  network.

Software:

Windows 10 Pro

Adobe Acrobat PRO DC

Problem:

Can't Scan: Scanner not recognized. try the following : Message appears.

Have contacted Adobe support and they pass it off saying to contact Canon. ( Fk'ing support pass you off all the time. It's not an adobe problem....go talk to your printer manufacture blah blah blah)

Now:

Delete Adobe Accrobat Pro DC.

RE-Install

Will do and work after re-installation for first scan ( Works)

SO CLEARLY THIS WORKED AND IS NOT ( I REPEAT NOT A SCANNER/PRINTER PROBLEM NOR A CONNECTION PROBLEM AS I CAN SCAN FROM WINDOWS  FAX  ETC) A PRINTER/SCANNER CONNECTION PROBLEM!

CLOSE UP ADOBE

REOPEN ADOBE

GO TO CREATE A NEW PDF FROM SCANNER

SCAN  using: Canon MF4200 Series

Get : Scanner not recognized. Try the following message...

Can't scan going forward using the CANON MF4270 option.

But it works also using the WIA option ( Again, evidence of successful printer connection/ USB CABLE WORKS)

ADOBE!

My message is to be clear and direct!

This needs resolution  or you will lose a subscriber!

FIX YOUR SCAN API (between ADOBE & Canon)
