selecting a scanner - pro 2017

Trying to create a pdf using a scanner.  Go to tab to select scanner and it's not giving me any options.  None of the other apps on my laptop have an issue seeing and selecting the scanner.  Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, you are not able to scan any PDF file using the Acrobat Pro 2017, Is that correct?

Please refer and try the suggestions from the following KB doc Troubleshooting tips for scanner issues when using Acrobat
