Selection tool issue

Since the latest automatic update of my version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Version 2021.007.20091) the basic selection tool no show what selection i am making. EG: previously when selecting any object that object would show a blue selection line underneath it indicted what i have selected. This no longer works and i'm struggling to figure out why. Please help ASAP as this problem is extremely frustrating.

The fix is available with the latest update of Acrobat & Reader DC Continuous track: Adobe Acrobat and Reader - 21.007.2009x Optional update.

 

Please install the latest patch, and let us know if you experience any issues.

Same issue for me.

I cannot see the selection line but the tool still works.

This is a problem with the latest Windows version. We have to wait until a fix is available in an upcoming release.

I'm using Acrobat 2017 and suddenly seem to be having a similar issue. I ran the repair tool and it started working again but I nw have a black box as the cursor that I cn't get rid of. It blocks my view of the document. Will this fix work here, too, or is my problem something else?

This problem (and therefore the patch mentioned above) is only for the latest rlease of Acrobat DC. Your 2017 version is older, so what you are seeing is not the same problem (even though it may look similar). You may want to post a new question about your specific problem.
