I have idea to sell javascript enabled pdf as digital download product at etsy and other marketplaces.

Little bit confused that i can't find examples of such activity from other sellers?

I try to understand -is situation when such products are  not in demand by the market or i just didnt find examples ? Or may be any other reasons making this idea   not viable ?

Any ideas ??

If you sell it once anybody can steal it and redistribute.  That is my guess.

in general case this problem is specific for all digital products-meanwhile for the most of its market and demand do exist obviously. So i am confusing with situation  interactive pdf, neveretheless some protection mechanisms (obfuscation, drm, watermarking etc.) are possible

Hi Thom

I really appreciate your feedback, because  got lot of ideas from your website and former subscriber.

Yes , i am agree that  vertical markets are big niche  for interactive forms.  But that doesn't kill the fact that general purpose market exists. And you can find lot of examples  of FILLABLE! pdf on ETSY.  FILLABLE -no more.  in other words - products made by inDesign masters  with no value added by Acrobat javascript masters. So my idea to sell much more interactive products enriched by javascript enabled features for already presented  categories as planners, calendars, certificates etc.  Hope this time more clear )))

Sounds like a great idea.  I hadn't thought of planners and calendars.
