Send PDF by eMail: Attachment-option keeps reverting back to a link

New Here ,
Apr 20, 2023 Apr 20, 2023

So firstly I have followed the instructions on how to set the send by email as an attachment by default BUT I have set that option daily now and each time I shutdown and restart the machine this then reverts back to send a link by default, You can even see the slider sliding across when you click the email icon

I need to send it as an attachment as this is being sent to Xero which only accepts PDF attachments as a reading system so a link is useless in this instance as it is rejected

This has only started happening in the last two weeks

Hi @Phil22811265mtd0

Thanks for reaching out.

As described, reverts back to send a link by default after you unchecks it. Please make sure that you click OK in the preference settings before closing the prefrence Window and see if that helps.

Also, try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that the issue still persists. Would you mind collecting the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html , Procmon logs (Win Only) https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud, generate the link, and share that link with us for further investigation.

Regards
Amal
