Set Duplex Printing as Default (Acrobat 9 Standard and Windows 10)

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard and Windows 10 on a PC.  Up until today, the printing default setting was for duplex (double-sided printing), but then it just changed to one-sided as the default for no apparent reason.  How do I change the default setting in Adobe Standard to duplex?  I print PDF all day, and it is very cumbersome to have to go into Properties every time and manually change it.  There must be a way to change the default setting, so duplex printing is automatically on (unless manually turned off).

Figured it out:  Go to Printers & Scanners.  Click on the printer you're using.  Click on the "Manage" button.  The window will change to a different page setup.  Here click on the "Printing preferences" option on the left side of the window.  A new window will then open.  In this window, locate the "Duplex / Booklet" title.  To the right of this title, there is a drop-down menu.  Click on that drop-down menu and change the setting from "None" to "Duplex".  Click on "Apply" in the lower right corner of the window.  Then click on "OK".  Now close out everything (including any Adobe windows).  Then reopen Adobe, and duplex should be the default setting.

Windows 10, not Acrobat sets the latest printer settings, including the printer settings to be the new default.

Acrobat 9 is about 6 years old (it came with the CS5 I bought a very long time ago) and Win10 is new... especially if you allow Win10 to install updates

It is very possible that a Win10 update has made Acrobat 9 "go sideways" on you

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... this says Encore, but is sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account) so follow the instructions for your specific program
