Setting the pointer to arrow

I'm using Acrobat Pro DC to open up pdf files and I prefer to use the arrow pointer over the hand pointer on these documents.  In the past, I had to go into preferences and there was a setting that allowed the arrow to be the default when I opened up a pdf doc. It seems like Acrobat went through some sort of update and I cannot find an option to set the arrow as the default pointer.  I clicked on Preferences > General  \and all of the options for Make Hand Tool are unchecked.  Also, I went to Preferences > Documents and I checked Restore last view settings when opening documents, but when I close the document and re-open it, the hand tool instead of the arrow is there and I have to manually change it to arrow every single time I open a document.  Is there is setting somewhere that I am not aware of to get the arrow as the default pointer?

Moving this from the Acrobat Reader Forum to the Acrobat forum.
