Shared file not available: We're still getting this shared copy ready. Try refreshing ...

Dear All,

somebody is trying to share his PDF documents with me and I receive the following error:

"Shared file not available: We're still getting this shared copy ready. Try refreshing after a few seconds."

After som hours the error is still the same. This is pretty bad.
In this communitiy I was not able to find any answer. Only hints like "Upload files again" - which is not relevant, because I dont habe the file to share.

From what I see this is a very basic function that is not working with ADOBE.

Is this an issue with a specific PDF file or with all the PDFs, please ask the sender to try with a different PDF file and check

 

What is the worflow/steps the sender is doing to share the file? Please ask him to create a shareable link and share using the third party apps Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, or the default email client as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/sharing-pdfs.html  and see if that works.

 

Also, if you are trying to open the PDF in a web browser, please try to clear the cache and cookies and reset the browser and see if that helps. You may also try using a different web browser and check.

 

Additionally, try downloading the file to your computer locally and see if that helps.
