Shared review server connection issues with Acrobat Pro DC and SharePoint Online / Office 365

I administer a few SharePoint sites in my org in support of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC shared reviews. I use both legacy SharePoint 2013 sites and SharePoint Online / Office 365 SharePoint sites to host the shared reviews.

One of our writers recently changed her Windows Network password, and immediately after doing this, shared reviews on the SharePoint Online site stopped working for her. She is unable to initiate shared reviews on an SharePoint Online / 365 site that had previously worked fine with no issues for years. The error message that she gets indicates that a "network connection could not be created". The review server that she cannot connect to displays in the Adobe tracker as IP address 13.107.136, which I understand is a Microsoft Azure server that is required to support shared reviews that are hosted on SharePoint Online sites/servers. It appears that there is a problem with authentication - i.e., the Network password change appears to have messed up the authentication process. Meanwhile, as a workaround, she is using a backup legacy SharePoint 2013 site to initiate and track her reviews, which is working fine.

We have tried several troubleshooting steps, but cannot remedy the issue. Can anyone provide help with getting this to work again? My team is supposed to be using SharePoint Online / Office 365 sites to support our shared reviews, but at the moment, this implementation is not functional or relaible. Any help is appeciated.

Hi,

Honestly that is question that should be asked in a Micrososft support forum. The issue that you're describing is related to a change of credentials, so it is not really related to Adobe Acrobat being the issue.

If the uset was trying to access PDFs from a mapped network drive, You may need to follow this Micrososft guidance:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/troubleshoot/administration/troubleshoot-mapped-network-drives

See also about syncing instead of mapping, and checking the option to stay signed.
