We need to make a comparison of 2 pdf files that show the changes between the files, but not in call-outs.  Is there any way to do this in Acrobat DC Pro?

Hi @joken99 I'm not sure what you mean by "not in callouts" but I think you mean not in "pop up" notes. There are several ways to filter and show the differences, including running different reports. There are also some third-party apps that give you more options. Here are instructions on comparing two documents. Is what you need to do explained anywhere here? Compare two versions of a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat

Thanks for the quick response Jain!!   One of the users requested that we show side by side results with strike-through's in red for deletions and blue underlining for new text that was added.  They don't like the pop-up notes display.  Thanks again for the help!!!!  Have a great day!

I'm including a sample of how our users want the side by side output to appear. Apparantly it was done in Acrobat 6.   Please let us know if there is any way that we can produce output in this format because some states will not accept the new format.

Thanks!!!

No, I don't see a way to do it with the old strike-through style using Acrobat DC. According to this article, the all-new Compare Files tool is available in Acrobat DC Continuous (subscription), Acrobat 2017. I've been through all the settings and I don't see an option to change the way the revised text is highlighted. Compare two versions of a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.

Maybe Adobe employee and Acrobat specialist @AnandSri will have some options for you?
