Signature Creation Style Problem

Hello Community,

 

Hopefully you have a solution for me. I deleted my signatures and now want to recreate them. But with the provided signature creator within the Acrobat Reader, after typing my name and when I go to choose a style, all the styles are the same and even after selecting a style, the signature in the box does not change. And the saved signature is not the chosen font.

I have already deleted the signature files within:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security

reader_fss_signature_initials

reader_fss_signature_initialsi

reader_fss_signature_initialsk

 

I have already uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled Acrobat Reader

 

How do I fix this?

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that
 
What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.2089x installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
 
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
 
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here (https://adobe.ly/4cwpu0X) and check

My System
Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045 Build 19045
Adobe Acrobat Reader Ver 2024.002.20895 64-bit

 

Repair - helped a little??? I don't know how repair would fix anything on a new install...

While it shows the different styles now... it does not apply the style selected.


Have tried the Preference reset and it does not fix the problem either.
