I have a document which the signature cannot be removed. The individual who signed it used the lock document feature with the signature in the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC. When they went to remove the signature to make additional changes to the document they get an error and the signature is not removed and thus the file cannot be changed. They have other pdf files which are working correctly (same signature file used).
Unfortunately the file cannot be shared.

That is unfortunate because problems like yours usually require an analysis of the PDF in question unless one resorts to pure guesswork.
The error message "There was an error creating a temporary file" might mean that the user doesn't have the permissions to write in that part of the file system, or that there is no space left on that file system. Alternatively it might mean that the original PDF internally is structurally damaged so that Adobe Acrobat cannot successfully process it for more than reading.
The validation issues might also indicate that the file was somehow damaged.
As mentioned above, though, this is pure guesswork.
