Signed document says document was updated after signing

I have a document which has been esigned by 5 people and the signature verification says "document was updated after signing" I have looked in the signature panel and on one line it says "this revision of the document has not been altered" but on the next line it says "there have been subsequent changes to the document" how do i determine what the changes are? I can see that i can download the version after each person has signed but its 25 pages long. Is there any easy way to tell or do i have to review both the orignal unsigned copy next to the signed copy to see if i can find the change?

Further down in the signature panel you find the changes Adobe Acrobat could identify, in your screen shot for example

 

 

If you expand these items, you'll find some details.

There are changes, though, Adobe Acrobat can merely detect but not identify in respect to their meaning or effect on the document appearance or behavior. Thus, sometimes you'll get more cryptic outputs.

But in case of doubt you should indeed view the Signed Version. In the recent years a number of exploits have turned up which could result in changes not reported at all (or at least not reported as disallowed) on the signature panel. Adobe Acrobat has been hardened against them but there is no reason to believe that all possible exploits have been found and defused.

    Thanks so much for getting back to me! When I click on those 2 things it just refers to field 2 which is the sign/date box. Is it normal for the document to say its been altered when its been signed? My problem is the recipient is questioning the authenticity and alterations after its been signed saying its fraudulent because its been altered.

    Yes, of course. Any alteration is a change. Filling a form field, be it a date or a signature form field, is a change.

    You may want to point the recipient to the Acrobat DC Signature Validation Guide: 

    Here they can see that the symbols in your screen shot indicate that only permitted changes exist and, furthermore, these changes have been signed, so you can associate the changes with a person who applied them (or at least who approved them by signing the document with them). Thus, there is no immediate indication that fraud is involved.
