Slow

Hi,

I have a problem, when i open a file on the app. It's realy slow, and take for ever to do what i asked it to do. It is when i scrol down, up or out.

I have a mac, and tried to uninstall and install it again, and it dosn't work. There isn't a opdate, so that isn't the problem.

 

please all help matters

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.3.20314 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights  or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

 

Also, please go to Adobe Acrobat > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable Protected mode at startup' > Click OK and reboot the application.

I have also had this issue the past few days.  It takes 30-45 seconds for the program to respond to each click.  I have updated.  I have tried unclicking the enhanced security and such.  I have rebooted. I have signed out and back in and nothing is helping.  This is making it very difficult as I need to send out about 100 documents in the next few days to employees and this will take forever.  If  you could advise how to fix that would be appreciated.  The only thing I haven't done is uninstall and then reinstall.

Have you managed to fix the problem ? I am having the same issues, I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Changed prefetences etc. Still no joy. It us quicker to open my original Adobe illustrator file (typically 80Mb plus) than a 500k PDF ! This really impactimg my work flow.

In which macOS and Adobe Acrobat Pro versions is this happening?

 

Also, is this happening with every PDF that you try to open with Adobe Acrobat or just with one particular PDF document?

 

And areyou able to confirm if this issue started happening after a recent update on macOS?
