Hello!

I hope you are doing well.

Adding to what our community product expert suggested, you can create professional digital invoices using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Create a PDF Invoice:

  • Open Adobe Acrobat and go to File > Create > PDF from Template.
  • You can choose an invoice template or create your own by designing a professional header, itemizing services, and including payment details.

Customize Your Invoice:

  • Add your business logo, contact information, and unique invoice number.
  • Include a description of the products or services, the amount payable, the due date, and payment terms.

Use Fillable Fields:

  • Make the invoice interactive by adding fillable fields for client information, item descriptions, and payment amounts. Go to Tools > Prepare Form to add these fields

Save and Share:

  • Save the invoice as a PDF and share it with your clients via email or other digital means.

Collect Electronic Signatures:

  • If required, add a signature field for clients to sign electronically. Go to Tools > Fill & Sign add this feature.

- Yes, you can use Acrobat to type on a scanned invoice, but you can also use the free Reader for that.

- Adding fields in a specific location is also possible, but will require either a script or using the Replace Pages command. And since these are scanned images the location will probably have to be adjusted each time you do it manually.
