I work with drawing files, a single pdf can have 0-500 drawing sheets with in the single pdf. I use a take-off program OnScreen take-off that will convert the pfd into seperate tiff files, when this happens all of the files have the same name so i have to rename the files individally so that I know where to find a specific sheet. The PDF's sometimes have bookmarks that are actually the sheet names, is there a way to split the document and rename the individual files as the bookmark name? I spend / waste 1/2 my day renaming files. please help.

Hello,
Thank you for the reply, I tried what you suggested and I must be doing something wrong.
1. Before I choose split should I select all?
2. When I choose output options then "The Same FolderSelected at Start" I'm not alled to choose " Use Bookmarks names for file names. if i choose a folder on my computer I am able to choose use bookmark names for file names. Then I choose ok.
3. Do I choose Split after?
when I do and go to view the files there's one file in the folder named sheets.
What am I doing wrong?

This used to work great! I used this feature for many years, and this is the main reason I kept paying for Acrobat Pro.
Now, however, with the new UI layout, when I move my mouse to click on the Output Options dialog box, the flyout on the left side goes away, losing its settings. When I dismiss the Output Options dialog box by pressing OK, I have to re-open the Split menu, only to find that it has reverted to splitting by number of pages.
Is there any way to go back to the old UI?

I'm having the same problem. I can't roll back to an older version of acrobat either. When I click ok on the settings it actually minimizes acrobat completely and resets my split settings. I have to go through the settings three times in a row to get it to actually work.
