Subscription to Adobe Acrobat DC PRO and Adobe Acrobat DC Standard Standalone

I have a subscription to Adobe Acrobat DC PRO for two computers, I recently bought a new laptop and it came with Adobe Acrobat DC Standard Standalone, I cannot activate this installation as I used my current Adobe ID to register and it immediately takes me to my account and says I have the many computers activated and I need to deactivate one, WHY? It’s a standalone version and I have added my serial number to my products????

After 30 minutes on a chat with a fine fellow at Adobe they gave me a link to a standalone install that allowed me to have the standalone function as well. Really don't get why they need to do this but it is Adobe.

You can't have more than one subscription under the same Adobe ID and it looks as if you also cannot add a permanent license. I don't say this is a sensible design but there it is. I think you'll need to contact Adobe.
