Question

Suddenly, Acrobat won't let me place my stored signature

Suddenly and out of the blue, Acrobat won't let me place a saved signature in a document, nor even re-upload the signature file I was using.

Instead, I get a dialogue box which starts, "To begin signing, chose the 'Drag New Signature Rectangle' button...

That leads exactly nowhere, as I can't even re-upload the old signature .tif file I use to use.

Adobe's utter incompetence continues to boggle the mind.

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Are you still experiencing this issue? There has been slightly a change "How you draw your signature on a file." Previously we used to drag and drop signature field on the file. Now once you select the signature, you choose location left click and drag as per your requirement and leave left click, the field should be visible.

Also, you may visit this link for more information: Signing PDFs

Please let us know if that helps. Or if you have already found a resolution/workaround to this query, please reply to third with your findings that will help.
