Suddenly stopped exporting; stuck in 'save as' screen with spinning blue circle

I have used Acrobat Pro DC to Export many files to both Word and Powerpoint. And yesterday the function stopped working.

 

As far as I can see there are no restrictions on the target file. From working perfectly well before to now when any attempt to export a pdf file gets stuck at the initial 'save as' screen. The screen is blank with a small circle in the middle and a blue line spinning round its circumference. Not sure if it's something I've done by accident or not.

 

Any help greatly appreciated. I'm quite reliant on this functionality and so would quite like it to go back to working.

Hi Kevin,

 

Sorry for the delay in response.

 

If  you are still experiencing issues, please try the following steps:

1. In the application, go to Edit > Preferences > General.

2. Uncheck the box for "Show online storage when saving file".

3. Click on the OK button.

Then check if you can save the PDF.
