Summarize Comments not printing properly

I have never had this happen before and can't figure it out.

I get edited documents from people every month who put their edits in notes on the documents.  I then print the documents and comments using "summarize comments."  The document prints, the comments print the following page for their respective comments. Easy peasy, and usually works like a charm.

When I got my edited docs back this month something isn't working right.

The comments pages are showing as the correct size on the page as usual, but the document itself is all skewed off the page and oversized.

It doesn't matter what settings I try, nothing works.  I even tried opening another document and putting a note in it, then using the "summarize comments" button (which worked fine).  Then I tried moving the pages I want to print to the "good" document.  (thinking maybe the original was corrupt).

No go, something about this doc has gotten messed up, and I can't find or fix it.

I really don't want to have to print this document twice just to get one good copy.  But if I can't find an answer, I guess that's my only option as a workaround.  I'm hoping someone else has run across this.

And I can't post a printscreen, the docs are confidential (siiiiiiiiggggggh, of course they are.)

Correct answer Canvasshoes

Thanks, but I already used the workaround (just printed two copies and sorted the comments into the “good” copy of the doc).  Luckily it was only about an 18 page document.  I’m hoping it doesn’t happen again (it never did before) and could have simply been the way the documents were transmitted to the editors this time (I was on vacation, and someone else was distributing them, which required some extra steps of scanning and emailing that don’t always take place).

I’m guessing that somehow the document became corrupted, because, as I said in the forum, I tried a brand new test document and it worked fine.

I wish I could send the document, but it contains potential PHI and I legally cannot.

Thank you though!

Yes, I have the same problem.  I have not figures out a way to fix it. Adobe needs to fix. Until then, 2 copies of each and every document.  Also, lately the stamp of the comment # is not printing either.

Hi Canvasshoes,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As this is a document specific issue, cannot say much what exactly creating the issue without checking the document.

If you are comfortable sharing the document via private message, we can have a look at it to find out the root cause of the issue.

You can initiate a private message using the steps provided here How Do I Send Private Message

Did you check the document properties? If not, try once and check if you find any difference from other documents.

Let us know if you need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
