Question

Surface Pro X 2021 mode and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 32 Bit Compatibility

Hello Community,

I am wanting to buy the Surface Pro X that has the ARM processor. I am currently running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 32 bit. My question is if that is compatible with the Surface Pro X? Is there an Adobe version for ARM processors? I saw on the form some awkward work arounds that I'm not confident I can do. Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Acrobat Pro worked fine for me on my Surface Pro X for many months. Then about a week ago after Creative Cloud updates, Windows started displaying errors on startup. This morning there were more Creative Cloud updates, after which the restart failed and Windows 11 would not start and could not be repaired. So I reinstalled Windows 11, and then Creative Cloud. But Creative Cloud won't install Acrobat, as it says it is "not yet" available for ARM devices. As I said, Acrobat ran fine on my ARM device for many months, but as of today, the thrill is gone.

I also experienced the same.  Any luck everyone else?

Thanks!

I did note on the help document that you can't attach or send a PDF using MS Outlook. That is a big downside. I don't think that shortcoming works for me.

I always review the PDF first anyway, then just drag it to the Outlook email.
