I am a teacher trying to send students worksheets to students they can fill out and send back to me  through google classroom. Everytime I send one, they are not able to type on it. I don't know what I am doing wrong. My steps are as follows: I go to Tools, then Prepare form, then Select the form, next Highlighted fields show up (it looks great), finally I hit the save button and then add to their google classroom. Can someone please help??? Thank you

Tip: test the form on mobiles, since more students have them than PCs. You’ll find them even more limited. You will have to do a lot of tech support for your students. Consider using HTML forms.

The software that the students use to open the PDF in needs to support form features. Many browser-based PDF viewers have litte or no support. For the for to work for them like it does for you, they'd need to open it in Adobe Reader after downloading it. There are some non-Adobe PDF viewers that will work also, including some mobile ones, but it would be unusual for a student to be using one.
