Text is SUDDENLY not showing in ACROBAT PRO DC

Can someone help please?

While editing a PDF created in powerpoint's pdf, suddenly half of the text in most of the pages dissappeared, or turned another color. This happened AFTER already editing some pages for an hour.

Now when I open acrobat it does not show some text in other documents too.

What has happened? and how can I fix it?

I have windows 10, and acrobat pro dc.

Hey there! I saw this was an issue back in March and now it's happening again in May. I create fillable PDF using Adobe Pro so this issue is significantly causing delays for me to keep getting these documents done.  When I go to updates, it says I have the most recent one. But this is happening any time I add fillable fields now and want to adjust them to the next lines; all of the document words just disappear and I'm left with the design. Just to move one text field I make one slight adjustment and all the text from that one page just is gone. I create my PDFs as docx in Google docs, print them as PDFs, and then load them into Adobe Pro. This has been happening more frequently in the last 2 weeks.

Adobe Creative Cloud is not showing a new Acrobat update. Any idea on timing?

I'm having the same issue. Are there any updates on when there will be a fix for this? Also on a macOS Sequoia 15.3.2.  I heavily rely on Adobe for my business and I can't get any work done without it, and I can't afford to miss any deadlines! Please help!

I am having the exact same problem! I noticed for me, it's only on Chrome. Things print fine in Safari. I submitted an issue to Google just in case. I'm assuming this is an Acrobat problem though. Standing by for fixes....

Same problem here: no text, just lines!

Macbook pro M4 macOS Sequoia 15.3.2, recently updated.

I see the same probem on both of my Macs, one Intel and one non-Intel, so it's not processor-specific. Both machines are currently running Sequoia 15.3.2, though I can't be 100% sure the problem (while recent) doesn't pre-date the most recent OS update.

Same - and I'm an accountant preparing taxes using PDFs - I'm dead in the water! I'm on Sequoia 15.3.2, Adobe Acrobat Pro 2025.001.20432, started a day or two ago

I'm having the same issue with PDF files I've downloaded--billing statements.  I've installed a different PDF viewer and the text is visibile with no issues.  I have no accessiblity optons enabled.   I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat and rebooted my laptop. This seems to have started recently--within the last month.

For now, I've had to print to PDF from a browser window for the text to show up.  But that's not a good option going forward.

My system:  MacBook Pro M1 chipset;  OS Sequoia 15.3.2

One more item to add--I tried uploading the files to the web version of Acrobat and they show the text with no isuses.  So this seems to be a problem with the Acrobat desktop version.

FWIW: I just uninstalled Acrobat Pro DC from my Macbook, and downloaded the web version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, and that version is having the same exact problem.

Same - I use Acrobat Pro DC from my MacBook Pro, and the problem described in the thread prevents me from reviewing and signing documents for my clients.  I hope this can be resolved soon!
