The Adobe grey box with the turning wheel. (MAC)

New Here ,
Jul 03, 2023 Jul 03, 2023

I am on a Mac, not Windows.

I have followed what a lot have shared and nothing works.

I am not technical, and I am beyond frustrated.

The grey (not see-through box) with the turning wheel goes nowhere even if you click the x at the left top corner.

Clearly, this is happening to many many people so I feel the fault lies with Adobe to address this clearly and simply for all of us.

Is there anyone out there who can explain to me in simple point form how to fix this?

I have done the tip of making sure large pictures are accepted and restarted and the signature idea....and when I look at others, many ideas don't seem to work anyway. Help Please!

Hi @Odettski

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Please go through the steps shared in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-mac.html and see if that works for you.

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Let us know how it goes.
